🤝 Nonprofits & Public Sector
Nonprofit and public sector websites
What is being sold here is trust, not a product. Transparency is the site's main function, not decoration.
What the site has to solve
- Concrete, measurable explanation of what you do
- Donors must see where the money goes
- Announcements and an events calendar kept current
- Easy membership and volunteer applications
The most common mistake on nonprofit sites is filling the page with emotive copy and no concrete information. A donor arrives wanting to trust you, not to be moved.
Use numbers
"We support children" and "last year we provided school supplies to 340 students" are very different sentences for a donor. Describing projects with figures is the most effective change you can make.
Financial transparency
Publishing downloadable annual reports and financial statements is directly requested by corporate donors and grant programmes. We build an organised archive for them.
Donations
Bank and IBAN details are the minimum; online payment needs a virtual POS application, which varies by organisation. We build the infrastructure ready and you continue by transfer until approval.
Announcements
General assemblies, events and scholarship deadlines are entered from the panel and surface automatically. An out-of-date nonprofit site reads as an inactive organisation.
Frequently asked
Before you
ask.
Online donations need a payment provider, and the documents asked of institutions can differ from those asked of businesses. Starting with bank account details is a practical interim step until provider approval comes through.
Activity reports, financial summaries and board information. This is where donor trust is built; organisations with a report archive raise funds noticeably more easily than those without.
A membership form, dues information and an approval flow can be built. Applications are listed in the panel and you make the approval decision.
Colour contrast, keyboard navigation and screen-reader compatibility are observed as standard. If a formal accessibility audit is required, we plan that as a separate scope.
